Overview: Tenets for Tenants: the kindness and severity of God in Christ The Master shows tender kindness toward His vineyard, and leases it to tenants (33, Isa. 5) The Master patiently sends His servants in His name, but the tenants reject them (34-36) The Master expects His Son to be respected, but the tenants murder Him (37-39, Acts 2:23) Can they expect anything but severity? (40-41, 44, Luke 12:45-48, 20:16) Jesus is the Son whom they reject, therefore they are rejected (42-43, Rom. 11:17-24)
