Overview: Jesus came to serve, so strive to be at Jesus’ side as a servant. Jesus foretold His coming death and resurrection (17-19, Jn. 16:12, 16:4, 14:29) All His disciples are vying to be at His side, but as the world does (20-21, 24-25) In the kingdom, the great One suffers and serves (22-23, 28, Ps. 11:6, 75:8, c.f. Jms. 1:2-5) The Kingdom is a different kind of kingdom (26a) So, strive to be at His side as a servant (26b-27)
