Overview: Behold Jesus the Warrior-King-Priest The New Testament sees Jesus in Psalm 110 (Matt. 22:44, Acts 2:34-35, 1 Cor 15:25, Heb. 1:13, 5:6, 7:17, 21) The Psalter itself anticipates Jesus in Psalm 110 (c.f. Psalms 2, 72, 89, c.f. Heb. 2:8-9) David speaks of Jesus who is King (1-2, 5-6) And Messiah is a Priest (4, c.f. Hebrews). We share in the expectations of old, including the Warrior (1-3, 5-7, Rev. 5:15-17, Heb. 9:28).
