Overview: Let the Scriptures form and inform your view of Judas Judas was one of the 12 disciples (Context) Judas planned and was paid in advance (26:14-16, Mk. 14:10-11, Lk. 22:3, 6, Jn. 13:2) Judas ate at Jesus’ table (26:20-25, Mk. 14:18, 20, Lk. 22:21, 23, Jn. 13:26-30) But Jesus knew who it was. (Acts 2:23, John 17:12, Psalm 41:9-10) Judas betrayed Him with a kiss (47-50, Mark 14:44, Luke 22:47-48, John 18:3-5) Judas did not repent and went to his own place (27:3-10, Acts 1:18-20, 25, c.f. Heb. 12:16-17)
