Overview: God does whatever He wishes God’s decree is His plan and purpose (5, 9-10, Isaiah 46:9-10) God’s decree encompasses all things (11) → Even big things (Prov. 8:29, Ps. 104:5-9, Acts 17:26) → Even little things (Matt. 6:26-30, 10:29-30, Lk. 12:6) → Even “random” things (Eccl. 9:11, Prov. 16:33, 1 Ki. 22:34) → Even evil (Is. 45:6-7, 53:10, Rom. 8:28, Gen. 50:20, Acts 2:23) → Even our salvation (4, 11-12) God’s decree depends on no one and nothing other than Him – Praise Him! (12b, Num. 23:19)
