Overview: God invites us to His Yard What did God’s [court]yard look like? (9-15, 19, Num. 2) All Israelites had access (16-17, Ex. 38:8, Deut. 23:1-8, 1 Sam. 1:12, 22, 2:22, Lev. 12) Inside was a large altar with perpetual fire (1-8, Lev. 6:8-13) It was an altar of sacrifice, but not everything was allowed (Lev. 1-6, Is. 1:11-15, Prov. 15:8) The altar had horns (Ps. 26:6, 43:4, 118:27, Lev. 4:7, 18, 25, ..., 1 Ki. 1:50-51, 2:28, Ps. 26:6, 43:4)
