Overview: Accept no substitute ways to God. God’s Law flows from Himself; He is Invisible and Jealous! → First, God implies that He is invisible. (Jn. 1:18, 4:24, Is. 40:18, Ex. 33; 24:11, Gen 32:30) → Second, God states His jealousy. (Ex. 34:14) Worship is Intimate and Formative (Psalm 115:4-8, Ezekiel 18:20) If you add to God’s worship, you take away from it (Gen. 1:26-27) We need Jesus, nothing less and with nothing added (Gal. 1:8, 2 Cor. 11:3-4, John 14:6) Let this shape your worship (Acts 17)
